Influences

Many artists influence me, be it as an inspiration to explore the artists
style or as a warning to never, ever do anything like it! There are,
however, a few artists whose creative influence will probably never go
away, even if I want them to. Here they are in no particular order: Yes
(Rick Wakeman specifically), Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd, Tool, Alice in
Chains, "Weird Al" Yankovic (fantastic accordian player), Astor Piazzola
(also an exceptional accordian player), Opeth (with and without Per
Wiberg), Genesis, Journey, Metallica, Primus, Duran Duran, Mr. Bungle,
Phish, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Dvorjak, Dream Theater,  Nine Inch Nails,
Danny Elfman, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, and more generally, 80's and
90's rock, pop, metal, and goth, progressive rock and metal, classical
music, and epic instrumental movie soundtracks.

Currently listening to:
Muse, Radiohead, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum,
Stolen Babies, Dillinger Escape Plan, Massive Attack, The Mars Volta
