Musical Aspirations: Since a very early age I’ve been interested not only in the composition and performance of music, but also the production side. I feel like the studio is an instrument in it’s self and I use it as composition tool rather than simply a way to capture performances. Estrum’s guitarist Jordan and I started our first band together in 1991 when we were 15 years old. We recorded a full length album using two 4 tracks. Since then I’ve earned a degree in Audio Engineering, spent five years working for an international music distributor called DNA, and have run two recording studios full time. I currently own and operate Nebulost Productions in the Austin, TX area. Eventually I’d like to see Estrum become a musical troupe that produces music not only for original albums, but also film scores, TV, websites, and video games. Eventually I hope to move Estrum to Europe for a while as well. I think it would an amazing experience for us, and a lot folks over there seem to be open to our style of music. |
